Rules AND Regulations for admission in class xi & xii
There are two categories of subject for every stream. One is
compulsory and second is elective For Commerce Stream four
subjects are compulsory and the student is permitted to opt
for any one subject of his/her choice from the given elective
for the Science Stream three subjects are given are electives.
A candidate who is placed in compartment and fails to pass the
secondary school examination (class X) at the first chance
compartmental examination held in July/August of that year
shall not be admitted to class XI (As per cenbosec, vol. 39
March 2001) commerce stream.
Compulsory: 1) English 2) Accountancy 3) Business Studies 4)
Economics 5) Hindi/Maths/Computer Entrepreneurship/ (Anyone)
Compulsory 1) English 2) Physics 3) Chemistry (Pair of 4 &
Maths/Bio, Maths/Computer, Maths/Hindi, Bio/Computer,
A minimum of 50% aggregate in Class X Board Examination is
required for admission in Class XI
If the student is opting for commerce with Computer/Maths,
he/she should get at least 60% marks in maths in X Board
If the student is opting for Science a minimum of 50%
aggregate in the said exam with 55% marks in maths (if Maths
or Computer is selected) is required.
A Student must score at least 50% marks in the entrance
RULES FOR CHANGE IN SUBJECTS
Change of subjects in Class XI maybe allowed by the Head of
the School but not later than 31st of September of
that academic session.
No candidate shall be permitted to change his subjects of
study after passing Class XI.
The candidate shall not offer a subject in Class XII which he
has not studied and passing class XI.
Notwithstanding anything contained in the rule 119 (ii) &
(iii), Chairman shall have the powers to allow a change in a
subject to avoid undue hardship to the candidate provided such
a request for change is made before 30th September.
